Soccer

A Team

This is our highest level of soccer competition. The focus is on game-play and strategy and refining previously learned skills. Any student in grade 6-8 can be on this team. The only determining factor is the student’s talent. There are always tryouts for this team. Athletes who do not make this team are usually able to make the B Team. Mr. Tim Delahunty will be the coach for the upcoming season.

B Team

This is our introductory level of competition. The focus is on learning the skills and tactics important to the game, and learning to play as a team. Any student in grades 6-8 can be on this team. The only determining factor is the student’s talent. Cuts are usually made at this level as we almost always have more students interested in playing than can be effectively coached on one team. This years coach will be our very own Athletic Director, Derek Van Dyke.
